Nature's Vision

Jim has been involved with nature photography and writing for over ten years. This interest is a natural spin off from his degree in biology and education. He has studied under John Shaw, Larry West, Rod Planck, John Gerlach and has attended the Nikon School of Photography. Jim was first published in Wildlife Photography. His writings have appeared in the NASSP Journal, the South Bend Tribune, The Regional News of LaPorte County and the Starke County Leader. He also conducts outdoor photography workshops and is an active member of the "Indiana Wildlife Artist Association."
Jim and his wife Darlene reside on twenty acres of woods, fields and water near the Kankakee River in Northern Starke County Indiana. They have created a natural wildlife area on the property where Jim takes many of his photographs.
Several of Jim's prints are currently on display at the Lifestyles Gallery in Valparaiso.
Jim markets his work through Nature's Vision, a company he and his wife formed in 1987.
